Boys Basketball

Current Record: FCIAC: 2-0        Overall: 6-0

On Tuesday January 6th, McMahon opened their FCIAC schedule up against Darien High School. The game was tight throughout the 1st half. The game remained tight into the second half, but McMahon began to build up a lead through the 4th quarter to nearly end the game. Darien made a push at the end of the 4th quarter, but it was too little too late and McMahon won their first FCIAC competition of the year 66-63.

Wrestling

Current Record: 1-4    

On Wednesday January 6th, McMahon wrestled a tough match against the Wilton Warriors. The Senators started off strong with a 9-0 lead and then the two team traded wins with each other until they reached the 132 pound weight class with McMahon holding a 5 point lead. With Wilton needing a pin in order to win the meet there 132 wrestler delivered and Wilton won a close match 40-39.

Girls Basketball

​Current Record: FCIAC: 0-3        Overall: 1-6

On Friday January 8th, McMahon played their second game of the week against FCIAC opponent New Canaan High School. The teams had already faced off this year with McMahon winning 25-23. This competition went a little different this time with New Canaan player Campbell Armstrong scoring 29 points with six 3-pointers. Armstrong’s performance carried the Rams to a 51-24 win over Brien McMahon.
