Do you have midterms coming up? Maybe you’re in college and have those dreaded finals, or perhaps you just need to study vocab or for an upcoming history test. It’s so close to the holidays, and friends and family are busy shopping for gifts or working for the money to buy those gifts. Luckily, your best pal technology has your back.
There is hundreds of free apps on the app store designed specifically to help students around the country study. I’ve collected the best top three.
SelfControl is a bit different than the other studying apps. SelfControl decreases your chances of being distracted while you are studying. You can block certain websites for an x amount of time. This way you won’t get distracted by the group chat you’re in blowing up or that notification saying somebody liked your instagram selfie. Once you set the amount of time to be blocked off of the websites, it’s literally impossible to access it until the time is up
InClass is essentially a note taking app. You can input your classes and assignments, and it will keep track of your courses and certain deadlines for tests or projects. You can make notes and it will send you notifications reminding you, so you never have a late assignment again. This app is even great for group work, you can share your notes with other classmates who also have the app.

As everyone should know December 25th is a day full of joy, cheer, smiles, and laughter. People gather and celebrate this day in many different ways. We start the day off with ants in our pants as we run to the living area and sit around our gifts. Or is that only for Grade 1-5. I don’t know about you but I still get excited to see the inexplicable gifts my love ones have wrapped for me. So that's when I started thinking…if I still celebrate Christmas, like I am ‘5 years old’ then how are others.
