When you are hanging out with friends and want a place to eat late at night, Post Road Diner is open 24/7. It brings you back in the day with its 1970’s feel of tacky colored leather and flashy interior. Not only is the food delicious but the atmosphere is welcoming and the service is great. Whether you are in the mood for a full course meal they have a wide range of options. Most ordered thing from their menu is the Chopped Salad. You can choose from their famous milkshakes that are thick and creamy their most popular flavors are Oreo, Vanilla, and Strawberry, you can always expect to walk out of there happy. Thanks to the chef, Freddie.
Being seated you can ask for a coloring table mat and be sure to expect the tin race car with the crayons. Even though they have not changed the farm animals, you will not get tired of coloring the same picture every time you go. No matter the age you can enjoy Post Road Diner with your family on a date or even a casual meeting.
Due to its popularity, it’s always busy, especially on weekends but the wait is totally worth it, in fact, while you wait you can play games, buy candy, and/or get a rad tattoo.
The diner is so comforting that you never get bored of it. During a stressful week of exams my friends and I went to study on a Monday, then on Wednesday I had a college interview and showed up at the diner again. The Friday of the same week was our Poinsettia dance and you would think that the waiters and waitresses would not want to have seen me for the third time that same week, but they could not have been more friendly and welcoming. Just know if you want a hangout place Post Road Diner is where it's at.
