You might wonder how someone can balance being Varsity cheer captain, Class Of 2017 vice President , running track , with hours of Cheer practices and competitions and still managing to keep a 3.8 GPA Average .
Well Da’Nasiah Blackwell pulls it all off while still also managing to keep her bubbly personality , As she pushes through each quarter she strives for harder obstacles to come her way , taking it step by step with the help from her family and teachers trying not to get overwhelmed. “Having my parents in the loop and having them by my side every step of the way helps me a lot “ said Da’Nasiah.
Blocking out high school peer pressure and making sure her work is in line , Da’Nasiah takes on her last year of high school. with all the stress high school brings she leaves all the negative energy out as she says “every day is a new day to improve and be a better person”. She focuses on the present for a better future , Da’Nasiah looks to bringing forward all her accomplishments and bubbly personality at either Uconn or Southern Ct University in the fall .
