Winter is right around the corner and you know that means...bundle up! With this confusing climate change, you might not even know what to wear for the appropriate weather. During this time of the year, we all get frustrated when you have to wear a sweater in the morning and a short sleeve shirt in the afternoon. Once winter comes, you know you’ll have to stay warm.
Here are 5 ways to prepare for the cold weather.
1. Always keep an extra sweater or jacket in your locker at school.
We all know the school has heaters, but not all around the school. Keeping an extra sweater or jacket in your locker always comes in handy! All around the school, there are different temperatures. It may feel warm in one classroom, but freezing in another. Although many students don’t know where their locker is, it can be helpful to come in early and find it. You could leave your jacket in your locker, knowing that you could always grab it if you get chilly. Studies show that December through February features the coldest temperatures of the year, so start preparing now!

You will feel accomplished and it will also make you feel refreshed for the new upcoming season! During this time, think about where you’d like to travel or maybe look for concerts to go to, so you can buy tickets early. This way, you’ll have something to look forward to! 3. Buy a travel mug for on the go.
Coffee and tea are a must-have to survive the winter season, so why not bring your favorite drink everywhere you go? Find a travel mug that expresses who you are! A great place to look for cheap mugs is at Target or TJ Maxx. Many students like to buy a warm drink before school but think about all the money that you would save if you brought your own mug with any warm drink you’d like. A great way to save money and a great way to save the environment!
If you’re the kind of person who enjoys going out to get coffee or other treats, make sure you check out Cafe Dolce in SoNo! A small, yet cute Italian coffee shop that has just opened up recently.
